Super 1 Foods - Sale highlights for the August 24 thru August 30, 2011 ad
(As always, the below are what I consider good prices.  So please keep that in mind...lol!)

Grocery:
Kellogg's Cereal, select 10-17 oz. boxes ~ $1.98 each
Frito Lay Doriots 11 - 12.5 oz. bags ~ $2.48 each
Nabisco Chips Ahoy! Cookies or Honey Maid Grahams ~ $1.98 each
Shasta drinks, 6-pack 12 oz. cans ~ $1 each **really great price**
(They make this awesome cream soda.  Hubby claims he has an ice cream recipe that uses this.  Maybe I can sweet talk him into making it...ha ha!)


Meat:
whole chicken ~ 69¢/lb
Boston Butt Pork Roast, Super Pack Country Style Pork Ribs, or Boston Butt Pork Steak ~ $1.67/lb

Produce:
large cantaloupes ~ 4/$5 **good price**
fresh green cabbage ~ 3 lbs for 99¢ (I'm thinking it will actually be 33¢/lb.) **really great price**
3 lb bag of Russet potatoes ~ 2/$4 **good price**

Other:

Food Club dinnerware (shows 50 ct. foam plates), plastic wrap, or resealable bags ~ $1 each
(I'm not a big fan of the foam plates but I do pick up some for potlucks or parties when they are cheap like this.)

Notebook paper, 150 ct. ~ 3 for 99¢ **stock-up price**
Academix ball point pnes, 10 ct. ~ 3 for 99¢ **stock- up price**

If they are out of the paper and pens, be sure to get a rain check.  The price for the filler paper is the cheapest that I've seen other than Staples 1¢ sale.
